Position Title
Administrative Assistant (Intern)
Position Duties
Work directly with the CEO to manage student accounts and to schedule consultations with prospective students. Manage contacts via Google Sheets and Google Voice and schedule consultations with the CEO via Google Calendar.
Assist in the enrollment process by helping prospective students obtain a 1st Class Medical Certification from an FAA-approved Aeromedical Examiner (AME) and by scheduling evaluation flights for prospective students at partner flight schools, documenting each prospective student's progress through the enrollment process and following up when necessary to keep enrollment progressing.
Other duties include assisting the CEO with managing in-person events and webinars and promoting those activities to local civic groups, aviation communities and public school districts via email, telephone outreach and social media.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent with minimum college GPA of 3.3 (cumulative) or current FAA Private Pilot License and minimum 3.5 GPA in both high school and college (coursework may be in progress). Prior sales and/or administrative experience desired.
Work Schedule
This is a hybrid, partially remote position with the possibility of paid travel opportunities for the right candidate. Following the initial in-person training and onboarding (1-2 weeks), candidate will be expected to log 15-20 hours per week (unless more or less work is otherwise approved by the CEO) with weekly in-person meetings that may alternatively be remote via Google Meeting per the CEO's preference. Other in-person and virtual meetings will be required per the CEO's direction.
Pay
$20 / hour starting wage with significant room for growth and advancement for the right candidate.
