Accelerated professional pilot certificate offered at St. Johns River State College

Florida Aviation Career Training partnered with St. Johns River State College to launch an accelerated pilot certificate program at the college’s St. Augustine campus. The Professional Aeronautics Certification program provides a fast-track pathway for students to become professional pilots in less than two years through a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on flight training. Students work toward multiple FAA certifications, including private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, and flight instructor certificates. Program leaders say the initiative helps address the national pilot shortage while giving local students an affordable and direct route into aviation careers.
