Madison College students learn to fly with new career opportunity in partnership with Wisconsin Aviation

Madison College has teamed up with Wisconsin Aviation to offer a two-year Professional Aeronautics Certificate (PAC) program that allows students to earn private, instrument and commercial pilot licenses, with 15- 20 hours of training per week. The program combines ground school taught by the college with hands-on training provided by the aviation partner. Wisconsin Aviation’s president said the partnership helps address a shortage of pilots and airport workers by preparing students for careers in the airline industry. College officials also described aviation as a fun, stable, and potentially lucrative career path for students.
