New program in Madison offers Professional Aeronautics Certificate

Madison College, in partnership with Wisconsin Aviation, has launched a new Professional Aeronautics Certificate program designed to give students an accelerated, direct pathway into professional pilot careers through combined ground school and flight training. The program helps students earn FAA certifications such as private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, and flight instructor certifications in a shorter time than traditional four-year aviation degrees. It aims to address the industry’s pilot shortage by preparing graduates for employment as flight instructors or commercial pilots soon after completion. Madison College
